Choosing the Right Trade Show Partner

We all know a tremendous amount of time and resources are invested to create exhibits for trade shows or marketing events. And, more often than not, the displays, banners and exhibits are ordered last minute! There is no room for error, yet, product delays, shipping problems, and product or printing issues are not uncommon. An incredible amount of faith must be placed into the hands of the company making your trade show products.

So, you better do your research and have tremendous confidence in your trade show vendor. Below are some considerations to explore.

1. What do others have to say?

In today’s digital age, customer reviews are readily available at your fingertips. Do a simple search for your vendor and see what returns. Google reviews are a great place to start. If there is no Google business page, try social media accounts, like Facebook.

2. How responsive is the vendor?

Can you get a live representative on the phone quickly and easily? Are your emails and phone calls answered in the evenings and on weekends? If your package is lost at the tradeshow after hours, do you have confidence that someone is going to be available to help? If there are issues with your product, will the vendor hustle to get you exactly what you need in time for your event?

3. If you need a last-minute display or exhibit, will the vendor deliver?

Not all products can be produced overnight, but, a good vendor should have the flexibility to place you into alternative products, expedite the proofing and production process to make the seemingly impossible happen!

Do not settle for ok, seek out the best!
